Brush and Roll vs Spray

Brush and Roll:

• Very good adhesion for lasting results

• Even and uniform coverage

• Gets into nooks and crannies

• Clean and neat environment

Spray Paint:

• Long prep and clean up time

• Uneven coverage (sometimes too thick and may cause dripping)

• Poor adhesion

• Can damage furnishings and vehicles etc.

Spray vs. Brush and Roll Painting

We get asked why we prefer brush and roll over spray very frequently. While spraying on the paint and primer can cover an entire wall in minutes instead of hours, that speed does come at a cost. The spray paint is liable to get on furniture, floors, and other items in the house. It’s also liable to get on your car or your neighbors’, if painting outside. Spray paint may begin to peel because of its poor adhesion. Our company does not revolve around speed, it revolves around the quality of your home. That’s why we prefer to treat your home with the old fashioned brush and roll. We like to take our time and thoughtfully apply each drop of paint to your home by hand, using but a fraction of the paint we would’ve used if we sprayed. Spray painting does have its place and is a valued technique in our company, however the brush and roll method has proven more effective allowing us to ensure even coverage and a longer lasting finish.
